When Billy says the wizard’s name, a magic bolt of lightning transforms him into an adult hero possessing the wisdom of Solomon, the strength of Hercules, the stamina of Atlas, the power of Zeus, the courage of Achilles, and the speed of Mercury. His time is ending after several thousands of years and Billy has been chosen to take up his role and mantle. Billy rides the train, leaving Earth and entering the mystical caves of the Rock of Eternity, where an elderly wizard named Shazam sits with a giant stone suspended above him. One night, a shadowy figure guides him to a subway station where a strange, unearthly train car awaits.
